He stepped out of the door and blinked his eyes to adjust with the light. It’s been so long, he has seen the light properly. He heard the person beside him,”Mubarak ho, thakur saab. Akhirkar aap bahar nikal aaye.”

Abhinav Thakur, his father was the ruler of village Pratapgarh. He has 2 younger sisters, Chavi  and Riya.He was married to Mitali when he was 16 and Mitali was 14. It was a child marriage, which was decided by their grandparents. 

Abhinav was 25, and it’s decided this is time to bring Mitali home. He started managing farms, their business and village. Abhinav was happy, finally the love of his life, is going to live with him. But, his happiness was short-lived.

On the day of bidai, he was going to a function venue after finishing the work, when he received a message from an unknown number. He was shocked to see his wife having sex with his childhood enemy Rakesh. He belongs to a nearby village, their grandparents were enemies and this goes on generation to generation. 

He received video message,

Hey Abhinav, have you seen this? Your wife and I, and this is not a one time thing. It was years, more than 5 years. I really enjoyed fucking your wife, behind your back. By the way, happy married life. 

Seeing the video, Abhinav's blood boiled. He couldn’t control his anger, and drove the car toward Rakesh’s house. He entered his house, and saw him doing exercise in the farm, he marched toward him and started hitting him angrily. In the process, he hit his head and he slipped into a coma. His family filed a case against Abhinav and he went to prison for 3 years. 

Present,

Abhinav took a deep breath, he is now out of prison. He has to finish his incomplete work. He wanted to kill Rakesh, but it would be a small punishment. 

Abhinav was once a caring and helpful person, but now he is a changed man. Now, he has become a stone hearted man. Only aim of his life was to take revenge from Rakesh, the man who spoiled his life. 

He saw his loyal servant, Raju walking toward him. “Pranam Sahaab.” Raju said, joining his hand. Abhinav nodded and sat in the jeep, and Raju drove toward his Haveli.

In the jeep, 

“Rakesh is still in coma?” Raju nodded in response , Raju didn’t understand why he tried to kill Rakesh. There was hatred between his boss and Rakesh, he always tried to provoke Abhinav but he never lost his calm. Why did he do this? Especially on his special day?”

He heard another question,” What’s going on in his family?”

“Sahab, You know Rakesh was the only son of their family. He has 3 sisters. Two sisters were already married and the third one, she was studying but she left studies due to financial problems. They were suffering financially due to Rakesh’s treatment.”

Abhinav nodded, after thinking for a while, he asked,”What’s the name of his sister?”

“Pakhi.” He answered with a frown. A smirk appeared on his face, he kept thinking of his plan to destroy him. 

The car stopped, Abhinav looked at his home. He saw everyone looking at him with fear, he sighed and walked inside the house. He saw his mother standing with a pooja thali, she said with teary eyes,”Mera bacha, akhirkar ghar wapas aa gya.” (Finally, my son is back)

“Koi jung jeet kar nahi aaya, jail se aaya hai tumahra bacha.” He heard his father's angry voice, he saw his sisters looking at him angrily. (He didn’t come home after winning war, he came from prison)

“Mujhe to ab tak samaj nahi aa rha, khoon kharaba karne ki kya jarurat thi.” His father said angrily. (I still didn’t understand, what’s the need to kill Rakesh? What did he do that made you so much angry?”)

“Aap bhi iske peeche pad gye hai. Ja beta tu aaram kr le.” His mother said, caressing his hair. He walked toward his room. 

He entered his room, and was shocked to see a saree on his bed. His gaze fell on the dressing table, where he saw bangles and beauty products. 

Before he could say anything, Mitali entered the room with water. Abhinav turned toward him, and saw her standing wearing a red saree. His blood boiled seeing her wearing a vermillion and nuptial chain. 

He got angry seeing her acting like a perfect wife and daughter-in-law. Only he knows her real face, she is not what she pretends. 

She got startled when she hugged him and said,”Maine bahut yaad kiya aapko. Apke bina ek ek din maine kaise kate main hi janti hu. Main aana chahti thi apse milne, lekin babuji ne kaha ache ghar ki bahu aise jagah nahi jaati. Ab main apko kahin nahi jaane dugi.” (I missed you so much. I wanted to meet you, but your father stopped me saying, good family’s daughter-in-law didn’t go to places like prison.)

Abhinav angrily pushed her, and slapped her hand. Mitali looked at him, and asked with teary eyes,”Apne mujhe thapad kyu maara?” (Why did you slap me?)

“Band kar apna natak” Abhinav shouted, he held her hair in grip and said angrily,” Tujhe kya lagta hai, tu ye sanskari banane ka natak karegi aur mujhe kabhi pata nahi chalega, ki tu mere peet peeche kya gul khila rhi hai.” 

He pull her hair, she hissed in pain and said,”Chodiye, dard ho rha.”

“Ye dard to kuch bhi nahi hai, uss dard ke samne jo maine jhela teri wajah se. Uss dard ke samne jo mujhe hua tha, jab maine tujhe uss Rakesh ke bistar pe dekha tha, bina kapdo ke.Itni aag di to mujhe bolti, apne pati ko.”

Mitali was shocked to hear him, she said,”Apko pta tha?”

“Haa, tere ashiq ne video bheji thi teri aur uski. Keh rha tha usne tere bahut maze le liye, ab meri baari thi. Bta rha tha, usko kitna maza aaya tere saath. Sab bataya usne, yahi dekh kar gya tha usse marne lekin bach gaya  saala.” He pushed her angrily.

Mitali fell on his leg and said,”Mujhe maaf kar dijiye, mujse bahut badi galti ho gyi. Uss Rakesh ne mujhe apne pyaar ke jaal mein phasaya. Main bhi aapse pyaar krti thi, lekin aap achanak se kaam pe jyada dhyaan dene lage aur ussi ka fayda Rakesh ne uthaya. Usne kaha wo mere maa baap se baat karega. Usne mujhe bewakoof banaya,mujhe maaf kar dijiye. Main ek bahut achi patni aur bahu ban ke rahungi. Mera yakeen kijiye, jab tak aap jail mein the, maine ek achi bahu aur biwi ke saare farz nibhaye.”

Abhinav pushed her from his feet and said,”Band kar apna natak. Main chahu to gharwalo ko wo video dikha kar ye natak khatm kar skta hu. Lekin main aisa karuga nahi kyuki mujhe apne maa baap ki izzat pyari hai.”

He bent to her level and said,”Lekin main tujhe kabhi apni biwi ki tarah nahi apnayuga. Aur tujse aur uss Rakesh se dhoke ka badla luga. Bas tu dekhti jaa.”

Mitali was crying, Abhinav turned and was going to the washroom, when he said,”Mere maa baap ko kabhi pata nahi chalna chahiye. Unke samne hum ache pati patni ki tarah rahenge, lekin iss kamre mein main koi natak nahi chahta.” After saying this, he walked to the washroom while Mitali was crying sitting on the floor.

At dinner,

Abhinav was watching Mitali, who was serving food to his family. They were praising her food, he sighed. He closed his eyes when she was serving him. He wanted to kill her but he didn’t want to hurt his parents. That's why he was silent.

He heard his mother,”Bahut kismat hai tu, itni achi aur pyaari biwi mili. Janta hai, kitna sambhala hai isne tere  jail jaane ke baad. Iss ghar ko, tere pita ji aur mujhko, teri behno ko. Ab tu isse har khushi dena, bas ab jaldi se mujhe pota poti de do.”

Abhinav didn’t say anything and continued eating his food silently, while Mitali was looking at him with teary eyes. She cursed Rakesh, because of him, she lost everything. It was not a lie, she really loved Abhinav, but his ignorance and Rakesh’s fake caring and charming nature spoiled everything. She couldn’t stop herself and fall for Rakesh, she was ready to break her marriage for Rakesh.

She didn’t know about their enmity. When she told Rakesh, their family was planning to do her bidai, he told his real plan to her. He informed her, it was all acting as he only wanted revenge from Abhinav. 

She came out of a trance, when her mother-in-law asked her to send milk for Abhinav. She entered the room and saw him lying on the sofa. She kept the plate on the table and said,”Aap Ka doodh. Maa ji ne bheja hai.” 

“Tujhe pta hai jail mein sirf ek samay ka khana milta tha. Doodh piye to mujhe saal ho gye.” Mitali didn’t say anything and just walked out of the room, while Abhinva chuckled seeing the milk glass.

“Sabko hisaab dena hoga.” He took the alcohol bottle and gulped in one go.
