Abhinav was driving the car while Pakhi was crying, he sighed and asked,"Tu ro kyu rahi hai? kitni baar kaha hai mujhe pasand nahi jab tu roti hai." (Why are you crying? How many times I have told you, I didn't like it when you cry.)

"Ye khushi ke asoo hai. Mujhe vishwas nahi ho raha apne mujhe chuna." She said with a smile with teary eyes.

(These are happy tears. I can't believe you chose me)

Abhinav chuckled, he held Pakhi's hand and said,"Tu biwi hai meri. Main tujse bahut pyaar karta hu. Main tere bina reh nahi skta."

(You are my wife. I love you so much. I can't live without you.)

Pakhi shyly said,"Main bhi aap se bahut pyaar karti hu." Abhinav smiled hearing her, he kissed her hand.

Life was a blessing for Pakhi and Abhinav. They were happy and enjoying their life.

Delivery day,

Abhinav was crying seeing his daughter. Pakhi smiled seeing him crying, she said,"Aap ro kyu rahe hai. Wo kya sochegi unke papa kitna rote hai."

(Why are you crying? What will our daughter think that her daddy is crying baby)

"Ye kitni pyaari aur masoom hai bilkul teri tarah. Main tum dono se vaada karta hai main tum dono ka bahut dhyaan rakhunga."He said kissing the baby's forehead.

(She is so sweet and innocent just like you. I promise I will always protect you and our baby girl.)

He kissed Pakhi's forehead and said,"Itne khoobsurat tohfe ke liye sukriya."

They were playing with the baby, but got surprised seeing his family entering inside the ward. Pakhi got surprise when Abhinav's father rotate money around the child and then at Pakhi.

Everyone was praising child, Abhinav's mother walked near Pakhi and said joining her hand,"Humein maaf kar de bahu. Humse bahut badi galti ho gyi. Main ye nahi kahogi maine ye sab iss vajah se kiya. Maine tere saath bahut galat kiya, bas mujhe maaf kar de."

(Please forgive me. We did the big mistake. I wouldn't say, I did this because of this reason. I did big mistake, please forgive me.)

Pakhi looked at Abhinav who was looking at her without any expression. She turned toward her mother-in-law and said,"Maa ji, aap mujse badi hai. Aapko mujse mafi magne ki jarurat nahi hai." Everyone smiled hearing her, Abhinav's parents gives her blessing.

House,

Abhinav was watching Pakhi who was breast feeding their daughter. This scene was so overwhelming, he kissed his daughter feet and said,"Meri bachi." (My daughter)

After sometime, they were lying in each other arm. Abhinav asked, "Tune maa babuji ko maaf kyu kar diya." (Why did you forgive mom and dad so fast.)

"Kyuki main chahti hu meri Gudiya ko dada dadi sab ka pyaar mile." She said with a smile.

(Because I wanted my doll to get her grandparents love.)

Abhinav nodded, he said,"Maa Babuji chahte hai ki hum gaon chale unke saath lekin maine mana kar diya. Maine kaha, wo jab bhi chahe yaha aa sakte hai aur hum bhi chutiyon mein waha aa jayege."

(Mom-Dad wanted us to shift to village but I denied. I told them they can come here to meet whenever they wanted or we can spend holiday in village.)

"Aapne mana kyu kiya. Ab to sab thik hai, maa to ab mujhe pyaar karne lagi hai." She asked in confusion.

(Why did you deny? Now, everything is fine. Now, mom loves me and she accepted me as her daughter-in-law.)

"Kyuki jo behtar zindagi hum apne bache ko yaha de sakte hai wo waha gaon mein nahi. Hum humari bachi ko ye nahi shikhaye ki wo ek ladki hai aur aage chalkar wo kissi ki biwi aur bahu banana uska lakshya hai. Hum usse shikhaye wo kissi se kam nahi hai. Usse sahi galat samjhage." He explained to her.

(Because we can give a better future to our daughter. We will not teach our daughter that her life goal is to become someone's wife and daughter-in-law. We will teach her, that she is not less than anyone. She can become whatever she wants. We will teach her, what is right and wrong.)

Five years later,

Savi ran inside the house and screamed, "Mummy, main phir se class mein first aayi." (I came first in the class)

Pakhi hugged her and said, "Meri samajdhar bachi."(My intelligent child)

"Mummy, pta hai aaj teacher ne my mother pe essay sunane ko bola. Mera essay sune ke baad unhone meri liye tali bajwayi." She started narrating the essay. (My teacher told me to narrate an essay on my mother. After hearing my essay, the whole class clapped for me.)

Pakhi was looking at her daughter sadly, she didn't understand a single word. She excused herself and walked toward her room.

Understanding the reason behind her sadness, he picked Savi and said,"Bacha, Aunty Sumitra aapki kapde change krne mein madad karegi . Phir papa apko bahar khana khilane le chalenge." Savi nodded excitedly and rushed toward her room.

Abhinav entered the room and saw Pakhi who was standing in the balcony, he hugged her from back and said,"Maine tera admission krva diya, tujhe bas paper dene jaana hoga. Maine tere liye ek teacher hire kiya hai jo tujhe english shikha dega." ( I have enrolled you in distance learning. I have hired a teacher for you, she will teach you English and other subjects.)

Pakhi looked at him with surprise,"Lekin iss umar mein." (But in this age.)

He cupped her face and said,"Main janta hu tujhe padna pasand tha, par tujhe padai beech mein chodna pada paiso ki vajah se. Dusri baat, shikne ki koi umar nahi hoti. Aur main janta hu, tujhe bura lagta hai jab Savi angreezi mein baat karti hai aur tujhe samaj nahi aata hai."

(I know you used to like studying, but you had to leave your studies because of financial issues. Second thing, there is no age to learn. I know you felt bad when Savi speaks in English.)

Pakhi hugged him, he proved himself a good husband and father in all these years. She felt so lucky to have a husband like him.

She was going to speak when Savi entered and said,"Mummy papa, main taiyar ho gyi. Chaliye." She held their hand and walked outside.
